The 19-year-old woman was walking on 1st Street along the Santa Ana riverbed Saturday morning when a man pushed her to the ground, took off her shorts and sexually assaulted her. The woman was able to fight off the attacker and escape to call police.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a light-brown complexion, 20 to 25 years old, standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray baseball cap, gray sweatshirt and black pants.
