Cybill Shepherd revealed that she almost got intimate with her "Moonlighting" co-star Bruce Willis, before his marriage to Demi Moore.

"We had a little romance," Shepherd told Access Hollywood of Willis. "Not too much, just enough... He showed up like he wanted to [have sex] and then I said, 'We shouldn't,' and then he said, 'We shouldn't,' and so we didn't... We worked so long together, it was probably better not to."

Shepherd and Willis portrayed private detectives Maddie Hayes and David Addison on the ABC dramedy series which ran from 1985 until 1989. The series depicted the pair engaging in witty banter and highlighted the sexual tension between the characters.

"It was at my house," the actress said of their near rendezvous. "Just the two of us, there was a big bottle of whiskey, or something."

Shepherd said that she was more willing to consider the romance towards the end of series' four-year run, but by then, Willis had met Demi Moore. The "Moonlighting" pair may have a chance to rekindle though, Shepherd told the entertainment show, "I hear he's gonna put me in his new 'Die Hard' movie, wouldn't that be great?"

Shepherd also revealed near romances with Robert DeNiro (who asked her to have barbeque) and Jack Nicholson and opened up about her past romances with Don Johnson and Elvis. Of the music legend she said, "He was a great lover" and joked, "The man loved to eat, but there was one thing he wouldn't eat... until he met me."

Shepherd was married twice, to David M. Ford and chiropractor Bruce Oppenheim. Both relationships ended in divorce, but she had three children from the relationships, Clementine Ford and twins Cyrus Zachariah and Molly Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim. She also had relationships with actor/director Peter Bogdanovich and musician Robert "Bobby" Martin.

Bruce Willis and his wife Emma Heming-Willis recently welcomed their first child together, Mabel Ray Willis, who is the 57-year-old "Die Hard" actor's fourth daughter. The baby was born in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 1, the actor's spokesperson said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Willis and Heming-Willis, a 33-year-old model and designer, married in 2009. Willis and his first wife, actress Demi Moore, have three children - Scout, 20, Tallulah, 18, and Rumer, 23.

Shepherd currently portrays Jennifer Love Hewitt's mother on the new Lifetime series "The Client List," which premiered on April 8.

"Jennifer and I are both from Texas. Jennifer has the best essence of a Texas woman," Shepherd told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the show's recent premiere. "She has incredible strength, she also has incredible beauty and she's very smart and she's going to really do what she has to do and do it smart. Her character is a lot like that and my character is a whole lot like that too. I love her and it's like a key relationship. We're partners - mother-daughter partners."
