Robinson made history when he broke the color barrier 65 years ago. All players wore his No. 42 on Sunday.
Robinson's teammate Don Newcombe threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Dodgers' game against the San Diego Padres.
Also on Sunday, the Dodgers' Hall of Fame announcer, Vin Scully, returned to the broadcast booth. He had missed five games because of what the team described as a bad cold.
"The doctor told me later on I was a click away from pneumonia," Scully told reporters in the press box that bears his name before the Dodgers' 5-4 victory. "I feel good now, a little tired from the antibiotics."
"All I want to do is think about the game and Jackie and how grateful I am to be back," Scully said.
