Although the final film in "The Twilight Saga" franchise is set to hit theaters on November 16, it seems that stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will have to get back in to character for some reshoots for the film.
Director Bill Condon confirmed in a letter to fans on the film's official Facebook page on April 14 that Stewart and Pattinson will have to "pop in those gold contacts one last time."
"A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece - each shot, no matter how brief - needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we'll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots - the last tiny missing pieces," Condon wrote. "We're not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors."
"I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I've made on my Twilight journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew," he added. "And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time..."
The director also said that there will be a new trailer for fans to "decode" and teases that the posters for the film will be "unlike any 'Twilight' images you've seen before."
The first teaser trailer for the final "Twilight Saga" film was released in late march and gave fans their first glimpses of Stewart's character Bella Swan as a vampire.
"After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found that I could shine," she says.
The first part of "Breaking Dawn" was released in November 2011. Swan, who was somewhat of a social outcast among her human peers, had longed to be turned into a vampire after she fell in love with Cullen in high school. The transformation occurred in the latest film after they wed and she gave birth to their daughter, Renesmee.
Director Bill Condon told OnTheRedCarpet.com that "Part 2" is "epic."
