Maria Menounos and her "Dancing With The Stars" partner Derek Hough brought their sexy sides out for the reality dancing competition's Latin night, pausing in the middle of their Salsa to share a lengthy kiss.
"This night was sexy - we threw in some dips, took some shirts off, kissed, some crazy stuff happening, but next week we're bringing it back to the class," Hough told OnTheRedCarpet.com after Monday's show. "I was really doubting myself a lot this week with this dance because I was like, did I make it too difficult? Is it too busy? Is it too much? I never really thought 'No, this is not too much,' even when we were dancing I was like 'I hope this goes okay.'"
"I kinda was really nervous and I knew that you [Derek] were nervous going into this [dance] because this was a really, really hard one," Menounos said of the salsa.
Menounos and Hough tied for second place on Monday, earning 27 points for their Salsa and working through several injuries including cracked ribs and fractured feet, which almost warranted the TV host's bubble wrap rehearsal ensemble.
The pair are preparing for next Monday's Motown night, assuming they don't get booted in Tuesday's elimination round.
"Next week's going to be different because the artists will be performing with us while we're dancing - so that's something new and exciting that we've never done before," Hough said about Motown night. "But we're going back to basics, it's going to be a clean, classy Fox Trot if we make it back next week."
"Every week we start from scratch and it's an embarrassment until it starts to click," Menounos said of her preparation.
Though dancing wasn't one of the Extra host's skills before joining the ABC reality series, Menounos said that it is just the kind of challenge that she lives for.
"I've done so many things that take me out of my comfort zone, that's like my favorite thing in life to do," Menounos said. "I do a whole series on Extra called 'Moonlighting with Maria' and I've been a Dolly Parton impersonator, I've been a stand-up comic - that was really, really hard and I really bombed. But it's okay! You've got to try it. So I love it and that's why I love doing this. I knew I was going to be really, really bad to start and I thought maybe I can get by a little, but that's why you go for it and you get pleasantly surprised sometimes or not, and that's okay too."
The remaining nine contestants will return on Tuesday, April 17 for the elimination episode. Who do you think will be sent home on Tuesday and who do you think will take home the Mirror Ball Trophy? Vote in our poll.
