Gisele Bundchen has got another fashion star in her family - her 5-year-old niece, Duda, who is not only a fellow model but was recently made a designer.
The girl is the spokesmodel for the Brazilian children's apparel brand Brandili Mundi and recently collaborated with the company in designing her first solo collection.
The child chose the colors and prints for the line, preferring pink and blue and images of ballerinas, fairies and butterflies, according to the firm's official website.
"She told us about her preferences on prints, cuts and details, and based on the briefing we received from her, we came up with a collaborative collection," Germano Costa, commercial and marketing director of Brandili Textil, the parent company of Brandili Mundi, said in a statement. "The pieces were all approved by Duda, whose romantic inspiration will surely delight girls of all ages."
Her collection is made with eco-friendly fabrics. Her famous aunt, the highest-earning supermodel in the world, according to Forbes, was named Best Green International Celebrity at the Green Awards in London's National History Museum in November 2011. That year, she also launched her own apparel collection, in collaboration with retailer C&A.
Duda Bundchen's fashion line is set to hit stores in her native Brazil in July.
