Ted Nugent to meet with Secret Service over Obama quip; says it wasn't a threat

WASHINGTON

Nugent said he will meet with the Secret Service to explain his comments.

At the annual National Rifle Association meeting last weekend, Nugent referred to what he called Mr. Obama's "evil, America-hating administration" and urged NRA members "to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November."

Nugent also said if Mr. Obama were re-elected, "I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year."

The hard rocker, who has endorsed GOP presidential candidate /*Mitt Romney*/, said once he talks to federal agents, it'll be obvious he wasn't making any threats against the president.
