Chelsea Handler, comedian and host of "Chelsea Lately," had a scathing response when asked who would be the opposite "of a girls' girl."
"Probably Angelina Jolie. She doesn't strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with," Handler, who is friends with Jennifer Aniston, told More magazine, according to US Weekly, in an interview for their May issue. Handler also dons the cover for the issue. "You just know as a woman, when you see another woman, if that's a woman you can trust."
It's not the first time Handler has taken a jab at Jolie. The comedian called the actress a "homewrecker" during a stand up act in 2010. Handler is known for her remarks about celebrities and has also has been in a feud with Joan Rivers.
The 37-year-old comedian revealed during her interview that she recently reconciled with Andre Balazs. Balazs, 55, heads a company which owns several hotels including the Chateau Marmont and The Standard hotels in Los Angeles and has been linked to Uma Thurman and Courtney Love.
Handler and Balazs reportedly split in November. "My boyfriend, Andre ... we just got back together literally yesterday," Handler said. "We had dated for nine months, a long-distance relationship with all the stresses and traveling and running around. It wasn't a real life; we weren't living together."
"So, Andre came to me yesterday and said, 'I think we have to try to make this work again,'" Handler added. "And I agreed because we're still madly in love."
Handler has in the past dated Ted Harbert, chairman of NBC Broadcasting, which merged with Comcast, owner of E! Entertainment Television. The two ended their four-year relationship in early 2010. The following summer, Handler went on to date Canadian zoologist and Animal Planet star Dave Salmoni. The two broke up in September 2010.
