Megan Fox and husband Brian Austin Green have yet to respond to persistant reports that they are expecting their first child together.
A source confirmed to E! News that the the former "Transformers" actress and the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum are preparing to welcome a child. The actress' rep had no immediate response to the new reports.
The celebrity couple married in June 2010 in Hawaii and had been dating since Fox was 18. She is now 25. Green's son Kassius, whose mother is "General Hospital" star Vanessa Marcil, served as the best man at the wedding and was the only witness.
Last month, the tabloid Star magazine recently reported that Fox is expecting her first baby with Green, quoting a source as saying that "it's still early, so they are only telling close friends and family members," according to affiliated website RadarOnline.
Fox became an international sex symbol after starring in the first two "Transformer" movies. She recently appeared with Jon Hamm and his real-life partner Jennifer Westfeldt in her indie film "Friends With Kids." Fox played a woman who dates a father but has no interest in becoming a mother. Fox told People magazine at the film's screening in New York on March 5, when asked if she planned on having children in real life: "Of course. It will happen when it's meant to happen."
Green met Marcil on the set of "Beverly Hills, 90210," which saw him playing nerdy DJ David Silver, his best known role. The actor told People Fox is "an amazing stepmom" to his and Marcil's son.
"They have a great relationship," he said. "She's always had a special bond with him. They love each other to death."
Fox told Cosmopolitan magazine in an interview published in its April 2012 issue that she wants "at least two, probably three" children.
"I've always been maternal," she said. "That's another thing that people probably don't assume about me."
She also revealed to the magazine that she lives to spend quiet nights at home with her husband or drive to Malibu and that Green calls her "Muffin." She calls him "Bri."
Fox, who tends to steal the show at red carpet events with her glamourous outfits, told Cosmopolitan that despite her image as a sex symbol, she feels sexiest in jeans and a tee shirt, adding: "I'm not as vapid / bitchy or fit as I look," she added.
She was also quoted as telling French magazine Jalouse in an interview published in its April 2012 issue that she "wouldn't trade places with an ugly girl."
Fox recently filmed "The Dictator," which stars character actor Sacha Baron Cohen. He also played the character on the red carpet of the 2012 Oscars and tossed fake ashes, which he said were the remains of Kim Jong-il, on E! News host Ryan Seacrest. The movie is set for release on May 11.
