Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West are continuing to fuel romance rumors with more public appearances, but the reality star remains coy about the nature of their relationship.
The two joined her sister Kourtney at the opening of her boyfriend Scott Disick's Japanese restaurant Ryu in New York on Monday, as seen in a celebrity photo posted on the website of People magazine, which reported that her mother Kris and teenage sisters Kendall and Kylie were also in attendance.
Kardashian, 31, did not comment about West, 34, but Tweeted on Tuesday, April 24: "So much fun at Scott's restaurant opening of RYU last night! CONGRATS @ScottDisick We love you! Food was delish!"
She and West have not confirmed a relationship. His recent single "Theraflu" contains the line, "I fell in love with Kim" and the two have been seen together in public several times over the past few months, which has earned them an online nickname - "Kimye." Kardashian has also been recently photographed sporting gold-and-diamond-studded earrings in the shape of his initials - "KW," as seen on the website of the New York Daily News.
When asked about the jewelry, Kardashian told the television show "Access Hollywood": "Use your imagination."
Kardashian talked about West on NBC's "Today" show on April 6, two days after she attended a screening of the film "The Hunger Games" with the rapper.
"I completely respect and understand that you have to ask these questions, but I've said before, Kanye and I have been friends for years," Kardashian said. "You know, you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me."
Her other sister, Khloe, told "Access Hollywood" that Kardashian and West are "having fun," adding: "I like to see her smiling, she deserves to be smiling."
Kardashian is going through a divorce after a 72-day marriage to second husband and NBA player Kris Humphries, who starred with her on the recent season of her latest E! reality show, "Kourtney & Kim Take New York." Kardashian's primary series, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," returns for a seventh season on May 20. Also on Tuesday, Deadline reported that the E! network recently closed a new deal to renew the family's reality show for seasons 8 and 9. A spokesperson for the cable channel, which is owned by NBC Universal, had no immediate comment.
