Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love appear in a rare video that shows the couple kissing and singing.
The video features footage of the late rocker and his fellow musician wife during happy times. The pair perform a rough, acoustic version of an unreleased duet called "Stinking of You," make out and take care of their baby daughter, Francis Bean.
The video comes from "Hit So Hard," a documentary film about Patty Schemel, who was once a drummer in Love's band Hole and who struggled with fame and addiction, much like Cobain and his wife. The movie is in limited release across the United States. The clip of the couple's duet was recently posted on the movie's official Facebook page.
Love and Cobain wed in February 1992 and were known for their turbulent and drug-fueled relationship. In August 1994, their daughter was born. Cobain, singer of the grunge band Nirvana, died at age 27 on April 5, 1994. His death was ruled a suicide.
On April 13 of this year, the couple's daughter, who is now 19, said Love should be "banned from Twitter" after posting an awkward rant about Foo Fighter's frontman David Grohl, a former member of Nirvana, on her private Twitter account.
According to Gawker, one Twitter message read, "I hear from frannies roommate that [David Grohl] hit on frances, and that she was curious, I'm not mad at her, him i am about to shoot, dead."
Love went on to accuse the 43-year-old married musician of being "sexually obsessed" with her late husband and claimed she had confirmation of the alleged flirtation from her daughter's former roommate and a driver.
Grohl's rep told Gawker, "Unfortunately, Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant... These new accusations are upsetting, offensive, and absolutely untrue."
Cobain's daughter, who generally remains quiet on personal matters, stood up for Grohl, who has known her since she was a baby.
"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn," she told Us Weekly. "I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship [with the Rambles' Isaiah Silva], and very happy."
Later, Love apologized on her Twitter account, saying she was "sorry she believed the gossip."
