Tamera Mowry-Housley and her husband Adam Housley are expecting their first child together.
The actress confirmed the news on April 25, telling People magazine, "Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends."
Mowry-Housley, 33, is known for co-starring alongside her twin sister Tia Mowry in the hit series "Sister, Sister." The twins also star on their own reality series "Tia & Tamera" on the Style Network.
Mowry-Housley and Adam Housley, 40, were married in May 2011. Tia was the matron of honor and one of eight bridesmaids. Among the wedding guests was "Full House" and "Make It Or Break It" actress Candace Cameron Bure.
After "Sister, Sister" ended, Tamera Mowry-Housley went on to star on the shows "Strong Medicine" and "Roommates." She also voiced Ester on the animated series "Family Guy." Tia and Tamera Mowry also appeared together in the 2002 comedy film "The Hot Chick" and in the 2010 television movie "Double Wedding." Up next for Mowry-Housley is the Fox pilot "Rebounding" alongside "Saturday Night Live" alum Will Forte.
The actress said she is due to welcome her first child in early November. As for her pregnancy so far, Mowry-Housley said it's been a little rough. "The first trimester was a little rough. I was extremely fatigued and had morning sickness -- more like evening sickness," she told the magazine. "Luckily, it has subsided in my second trimester. I feel great as of now -- more like myself."
Mowry-Housley also revealed her sister Tia's reaction to the news. "Her first reaction [when I called to tell her] was, 'I KNEW it!'"
Tia Mowry and husband Cory Hardrict, who is also an actor, welcomed their son Cree in June. The second season of the sister's reality series "Tia & Tamera" premieres on June 11 on the Style Network.
