Robbers w/ painter's masks wanted in LA-area

LOS ANGELES

Investigators said the men first targeted an auto parts store in the 24800 block of South Western Avenue in San Pedro last November. The robberies have continued for months, with the latest incident on Feb. 17. In addition to auto stores, police say the suspects have also targeted a pharmacy.

The culprits usually arrive around closing time wearing painter's masks, bandanas or ski masks and gloves, and they take cash from registers and safes.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male in his 30s between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing between 170 and 180 pounds with a light mustache. The second suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male in his late 20s between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing between 170 and 180 pounds with a mustache, sideburns and a possible beard.
