Charlie Theron showed off a daring look at CinemaCon 2012, where she was honored at the Big Screen Achievement Awards, along with stars such as Jennifer Garner, Michelle Pfeiffer, Anna Faris, Chloe Grace Moretz, "The Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson and Jeremy Renner of "The Avengers."
The winners announced days before the event, which took place on Thursday, April 26, at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Theron, who plays the Evil Queen alongside Kristen Stewart in the upcoming film "Snow White and the Huntsman," received the award for "Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film."
The 36-year-old South African actress and sex icon won an Oscar for her role as a serial killer in the 2003 movie "Monster." At the CinemaCon award ceremony, Theron wore a sexy, black cutout Dion Lee Fall 2012 dress with nude mesh, a halter-style top and off-the-shoulder sleeves. She paired the look with black, strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
Garner, who gave birth to her third child two months ago, wore a black, sleeveless Michael Kors Resort 2012 dress with a metallic front zipper and a leather belt, along with tri-color, strappy sandals and David Webb jewelry.
The actress, who is promoting her new film "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," took home the award for "Female Star of the Year." Garner, 40, is known for her roles in films such as "13 Going on 30" and the spy series "Alias."
Pfeiffer, 54, won the "Icon Award." She also showed up to the event in a black dress, which contained long sleeves and a body-hugging, over-the-knee skirt. The actress is promoting her newest film, "Dark Shadows," which stars Johnny Depp.
Chloe Grace Moretz, who also appears in "Dark Shadows," was named "Female Star of Tomorrow." The 15-year-old star wore a dark blue, metallic Kenzo dress with red medallion-like spots, a conservative collar and flared skirt. She paired the look with black, stiletto Jimmy Coo "Lance" sandals. The actress starred in "Hugo" was recently cast in a Beach Boys biopic.
Anna Faris, who has appeared in films such as "The House Bunny" and stars with Sacha Baron Cohen in "The Dictator," won "Comedy Star of the Year." The 35-year-old actress wore a black, sparkling Dolce & Gabbana dress and Casadei heels.
Renner, 41, was named "Male Star of the Year," while Sylvester Stallone, 65, was honored with the "Career Achievement Award." Hutcherson, 19, took home the award for "Breakthrough Performer of the Year." Dwayne Johnson, 39, who co-starred with him in "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" and appears in the new film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," was dubbed "Action Star of the Year."
Taylor Kitsch, who starred in Disney's "John Carter," was named the "Male Star of Tomorrow." Director Judd Apatow received the "Award of Excellence in Filmmaking." He attended the CinemaCon event with his wife, Leslie Mann. She starred in her husband's film "Knocked Up" as a married mother of two and is set to reprise her role in his new movie, "This is 40."
