LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian celebrated their first wedding anniversary by renewing their vows on Friday.
"Renewed our vows today," Rimes Tweeted on April 27. "It's incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife. Here's to another great year!"
Rimes and Cibrian also spent the day at the beach on Friday, the signer wrote, "Eddie and I went climbing on the rocks in the ocean yesterday to see the thousands of crabs."
The couple began their anniversary celebration with a "staycation" last week and exchanged gifts. Rimes gave Cibrian a watch while the singer was gifted with a ring and a necklace with an angel wing pendant.
"I think we are packed for our 'stay cation' Good times ahead," Rimes Tweeted on April 19 about her anniversary plans. "Here's to a great weekend and an amazing one year anniversary."
Rimes, 29, and Cibrian, 38, went public with their romance back in 2009 after falling in love on the set of the Lifetime movie, "Northern Lights." At the time, Cibrian was still married to Glanville while Rimes was married to Dean Sheremet. Rimes and Sheremet divorced in June 2010 while Cibrian and Glanville finalized their divorce in October 2010. Cibrian and Glanville have two sons together, 8-year-old Mason and 5-year-old Jake.
Rimes and Cibrian moved in together in the summer of 2010 and got engaged in December 2010 when Cibrian proposed with a 5-carat diamond ring. The two wed on April 22, 2011 in a small ceremony in Malibu, California.
Cibrian appeared on the short lived NBC series "The Playboy Club" and has had roles on "CSI: Miami," "Ugly Betty," "Sunset Beach" and "Third Watch."
Weeks after their wedding, Rimes posted photos of herself in bikinis and raised concern among many that she may have lost too much weight.
Rimes has often defended her body and diet, especially on her Twitter account, which she often updates several times an hour and uses to chat with fans and critics.
