'Octomom' Nadya Suleman files for bankruptcy; house auction delayed

LA HABRA, Calif.

Suleman, who gave birth to octuplets in 2009, has been living in the home with her 14 children for the past three years. The landlord says she's nearly 11 months behind on her payments.

He says he kept the mortgage in his name to help Suleman because he claims she didn't qualify for a loan.

He says he's now forced to put the house up for auction because the bank's pressing him for cash. Suleman has not commented.

On Monday, Suleman also filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The single mom said she'll do anything to provide for her children, saying she'd even consider doing pornography.

"I don't even give a crap if people think I'm a hypocrite, because I'm not. I know I'm not, in regard to, 'Oh, I'll never pose nude.' You know what? If the opportunity comes up I'll be the first to admit I'm going to eat my words because all that matters is that I can take care of my family," she said in an earlier interview with CNN. "If it's a job and it's a well paying job and it's going to allow me to get us out of here and into a very safe, huge home that they deserve, I'm going to do it."

In a statement, she said she had to make some very difficult decisions this year and filing for bankruptcy was one of them.

"I have to do what is best for my children and I need a fresh start," the statement said.
