Maria Menounos became the first contestant of season 14 of "Dancing With The Stars" to get a perfect score with each judge awarding her a 10 for her Paso Doble with partner Derek Hough on April 30.
The pair went on to score a 27 out of 30 for their team Tango with fellow contestants Katherine Jenkins, Jaleel White and Roshon Fegan. Now, Menounos and Hough lead the pack with a 57 out of 60 after Classical night on the show.
Menounos and Hough told OnTheRedCarpet.com's George Pennacchio after the show, they didn't expect to be the first pair to nab the perfect score.
"You never ever thought that right, like ever," Menounos told Hough.
"We've never considered it," Hough said. "Like you don't go, 'Ok this is what's going to happen.'"
Menounos admitted, "It certainly wasn't going to be us I thought."
Hough said he likes performing dances like the Paso Doble and the Argentine Tango. "I really like those dances," he said. "I feel like they -- I guess I'm a pretty intense person."
"It quenches my thirst for -- to have that tension come out," he added.
Menounos appeared backstage in slippers with her feet wrapped in bandages. Throughout the season the "Extra" co-host had had to deal with broken ribs and a fractured foot.
"It was not pretty earlier today, I have to say," Menounos said about her feet. "I have to go to the doctor tomorrow but I'm almost like, 'Why should I even bother?' "I'm not going to stop. So why do I even what to know what he has to say to me?"
Audiences will find out tomorrow which couple will have to leave the ballroom after the final "Dance Duel" of the season. Who do you think will go home? Vote in our poll below.
