The first clip from the upcoming film "Men in Black III" has revealed stars Will Smith and Josh Brolin using monowheels as transportation.
In the clip, a young Agent Kay (Brolin) asks Agent Jay (Smith), "Do you have these in the future?" while pulling the vehicles out from under their destroyed car.
The pair then proceed to chase down a time-traveling alien named Boris (Jermaine Clement of "Flight of the Conchords") who came back to 1969 in an attempt to remove Agent Kay from existence.
According to Yahoo, the monowheel has been around since the late 1800s and is described as a "one-wheeled single-track vehicle," which is similar to a unicycle except that the rider sits inside or next to the wheel.
In "Men in Black III," Smith's alien-fighting Agent Jay is seen "jumping" back in time to 1969 and teaming up with his old partner, Agent K.
Brolin can be seen doing his best Tommy Lee Jones impression in the clip and trailer, as the "True Grit" and "No Country For Old Men" actor plays a younger Agent K. Jones also reprises his role as the present-day version of the character.
The Sony Pictures film is set for release on May 25, 2012 and will mark the first movie in the hit franchise in 10 years. "Men in Black II" made more than $441 million worldwide since it was released in 2002, while the original 1997 film earned $589 million.
Production on "Men in Black III" began in September. Oscar-winning British actress Emma Thompson plays a present-day Agent Oh, while fellow UK native Alice Eve, who recently played Vince's new girlfriend in "Entourage" and a nanny in the film "Sex and the City 2," portrays the younger version of the character.
"Men in Black III" also stars "Saturday Night Live" actor Bill Hader as Andy Warhol, while "The X Factor" judge and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger portrays a woman named Lilly.
