Kristen Stewart visited "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on May 4 and told the talk show host that she injured her foot during re-shoots for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2."
The 22-year-old actress admitted that though she's not a fan of high heels in general, she had to give them up recently after injuring herself in a hunting scene.
"We were doing some stuff for Breaking Dawn still, I keep thinking we're done... It was cool though. I wasn't trying to have ultimate swag though when I walked out," Stewart told Jay Leno. "I hurt my foot [during re-shoots]. I wasn't trying to get out of wearing heels though either. That wasn't the case."
When asked about what scenes, Stewart revealed that they were re-shooting scenes from her character Bella's "first hunt."
"We were doing just more of the hunt in the beginning. The first hunt. It's so important. I just wanted more of it. We all wanted more of it," Stewart explained.
Stewart also said that her on-screen daughter in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2," Mackenzie Foy is the "coolest actress" she's ever worked with.
For her appearance on "The Tonight Show," the actress, who was recently named the Best Dressed Woman of 2012 by Glamour UK, donned a Dolce & Gabbana James Dean t-shirt with a burnt orange Rebecca Minkoff blazer, J Brand jeans and oxford shoes by Bloch.
The actress will next appear iin "Snow White and the Huntsman" with Charlize Theron, who recently joked that she would "jump off a building" for Stewart.
Stewart commands a massive following thanks to the success of the "Twilight" films. Actress Molly Ringwald, who rose to fame with the cult movie "The Breakfast Club" and other 1980s teen films, mentioned her in a recent Q&A "Ask Me Anything" session with fans on the website Reddit.
When asked by a user, "How did you manage to get hotter with age," Ringwald joked: "I drink the blood of Kristen Stewart."
Stewart recently finished filming the re-shoots from "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," which is the fifth "Twilight" film and sees her character learning to cope with being a vampire. She sports red eyes in newly-released photos from the movie, which is set to hit theaters in November.
"Snow White and the Huntsman" is due to hit theaters on June 1 and stars Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen. Stewart's character, Snow White, enlists the help of the Huntsman, played by Chris Hemsworth, in a bid to defeat her.
"It's really been awesome to play a young girl who is so human," Stewart said in a video interview to promote the film.
