Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan and his partner Chelsie Hightower were the first couple to be eliminated "Dancing With The Stars" on May 8, 2012. Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were also eliminated. It was also Gilbert's birthday.
Classical singer Katherine Jenkins and her partner Mark Ballas were in jeopardy. The pair received 26 out of 30 points from the judges for their Viennese Waltz and 29 out of 30 for their Dance Trio on week eight of 'Dancing With The Stars,' which aired on May 7, 2012.
Chris Brown performed on the ballroom stage and sang his hit song "Turn up the Music." The song is the first single off his new album, "Fortune," which is set for release on July 3.
Dmitry Chaplin and Anya Garnis performed a special routine from the "Dancing with the Stars Live in Las Vegas Show." The pair danced to the song "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" The show, which is at the New Tropicana in Las Vegas, includes appearances by Carson Kressley, Joey Fatone, Tia Carrere, Lacey Schwimmer, Sabrina Bryan and Kyle Massey.
The week's "Macy's Stars of Dance" was an "American Bandstand" tribute to the late Dick Clark. The performance featured pro dancers Karina Smirnoff, Tony Dovolani and the Troupe. It was choreographed by Jamal Sims and Wendy Johnson. The routine represented the four decades of "American Bandstand."
