Actors Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are reportedly expecting their first child together.
Faris' spokesperson confirmed the news to People magazine on May 9. The 35-year-old actress and Pratt, 32, married in 2009 after co-starring in the movie "Take Me Home Tonight."
Fairs is set to appear in "The Dictator" opposite Sacha Baron Cohen. The actress is best known for starring in the "Scary Movie" franchise, "Just Friends," and "The House Bunny." Pratt stars as the loveable Andy Dwyer on "Parks and Recreation." He has also appeared in "Everwood," "Moneyball" and "The Five-Year Engagement."
Faris was previously married in 2004 to her "Lovers Lane" horror movie co-star, Ben Indra. The couple's divorce was finalized in 2008, the same year she became engaged to Pratt.
Pratt and Faris talked about falling in love on the set of "Take Me Home Tonight," to OnTheRedCarpet.com at the film's premiere in 2011. "We met making this movie and we fell in love during that time," Faris said.
"And now we're married," Pratt continued. "So this is a pretty spectacular moment for us, to be able to come to this movie that we met on and fell in love making, so it's kinda neat."
Faris' next film, "The Dictator," is set to hit theaters worldwide on May 11, 2012. Sacha Baron Cohen stars as a foreign dictator who comes to America. According to a statement from the studio, the film tells the story of "a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed."
