Jon Hamm dishes out valuable dating advice to teenage girls in the latest installment of Rookie magazine's monthly "Ask A Grown Man" video series, such as - yes, it's okay to break wind in front of your love interest.
The 41-year-old actor, who plays flirty and suave ad executive Don Draper in AMC's 1960s drama "Mad Men,", has been in a relationship with director and actress Jennifer Westfeldt for more than 10 years. He answers five questions in the clip and says that it's "probably in your best interest" to pay attention to what he has to say.
"'If a girl accidentally farts in front of her significant other, should she feel embarrassed?'" he reads. "Uh, this is from Anonymous, believe it or not. Uh, I was under the impression that girls never farted. So I don't feel like I am capable of handling this one. No, of course. Farting is farting. Everybody farts. Go read that book, 'Everybody Poops.' It's the same thing."
Hamm also gives advice to a 16-year-old girl eager to "do stuff" with her reluctant boyfriend of three weeks.
"Uh, if it's making out, then he should want to do that - it's super fun," Hamm says. "If it's having sex, then it's other things to deal with, so he's probably right in saying, like, slow your roll. So I don't feel quite qualified to answer that, but use your best judgment or talk to somebody who has better judgment."
Previous participants in the "Ask A Grown Man" series include actors Paul Rudd and BJ Novak of "The Office."
