'Cougar Town' moving networks, heads to TBS

LOS ANGELES

The network announced Thursday that it has ordered a fourth season of the sitcom, set to begin airing early 2013. TBS has also acquired the rights to run the show's first three seasons, which originally aired on ABC.

"We are thrilled to have 'Cougar Town' moving to the TBS neighborhood as the network continues to expand its slate of original comedy series," said Michael Wright, president and head of programming for TBS.

The sitcom stars Couretney Cox as a recently divorced mother who struggles with the challenges and pitfalls of being single again. 'Cougar Town' also stars Brian Van Holt, Christa Miller, Ian Gomez, Josh Hopkins and Busy Philipps.
