OTRC: John Travolta's attorney denies sexual abuse claims

John Travolta speaks to reporters in New York about the movie 'Gotti: Three Generations' on Tuesday, April 12, 2011.

Two anonymous male masseurs are suing John Travolta for $2 million, claiming that the actor assaulted them sexually several months ago during massage sessions.

Travolta's attorney has denied the claims, adding that the 58-year-old "Pulp Fiction" and "Grease" star, who is married to actress Kelly Preston, was on the East Coast working on a movie at the time the first man said the alleged incident occurred.

The masseur, who calls himself "John Doe" in the lawsuit, says Travolta had touched him inappropriately and exposed himself during a massage appointment at the Beverly Hills hotel on January 16. He suffered emotional distress and humiliation and is seeking a jury trial.

Travolta's attorney says the man's lawyer "filed this suit to try and get his 15 minutes of fame." He says that Travolta intends to countersue for "malicious prosecution."

The second lawsuit was also filed against Travolta by the same lawyer. The person claims that on January 28, the actor carried out similar acts during a massage session in an Atlanta hotel. Travolta's attorney said the second claim is "is just as absurd and ridiculous as the first one."

The actor can be seen next in the 2013 movie "Killing Season." The film entered the pre-production process on January 11, began filming on January 23, production notes show. Post-production began on April 27. The actor is also set to star in the movie "Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father," which has not begun filming yet.
