Former "Golden Girl" and television legend Betty White revealed who she might be casting her vote for in the 2012 presidential election.

The 90-year-old actress, who said she usually keeps her political opinions private, said she "very, very much favors" President Barack Obama in the upcoming election, according to the Associated Press.

President Obama, who is running for a second term, will likely face-off against Republican Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, in the November election.

White told the wire service on May 11 that she is very bi-partisan and has stayed away from politics all of her life. White says she shies away from revealing her political choices because she doesn't want to turn off any fans.

The actress added that she likes what President Obama has done and "how he represents us."

Back in January, President Obama wished White a happy birthday in a taped message featured in a television birthday special for White. President Obama poked fun at the controversy surrounding his birth certificate with a joke about White's age.

"You look so fantastic and full of energy, I can't believe you're 90 years old," The president can be heard in a voice over saying in the video. "In fact, I don't believe it. That's why I'm writing to ask if you will be willing to produce a copy of your long-form birth certificate."

The president was in Los Angeles on May 10 at a fundraiser George Clooney held for his re-election campaign. The event netted almost $15 million, marking a record for a single such event.

Among the some 150 attendees were co-host and Dreamworks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, singer Barbra Streisand and her husband James Brolin, Robert Downey Jr., Eddie Murphy, Jack Black, designer Diane Von Furstenberg, Salma Hayek, actor and frequent Oscars host Billy Crystal, Tobey Maguire and Clooney's girlfriend, WWE star Stacy Keibler.
