Authorities responded to the 11100 block of De Soto Avenue at 6:28 a.m. Two people were rushed to a local hospital.
One person was declared dead at the hospital. The condition of the second person was not known.
The cause of the crash was not released. An investigation is under way. The De Soto Avenue offramp from the eastbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway was closed to limit traffic in the area.
