OTRC: 'The Dictator,' 'Battleship,' 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' reviewed by Mr. Moviefone

Sacha Baron Cohen appears in a still from the 2012 film 'The Dictator.' (Paramount Pictures)

As "The Avengers" passes the billion-dollar mark worldwide, is there anything that can take down the superheroes? Maybe an action movie inspired by a classic board game, a romantic comedy about planning for parenthood or comedian Sacha Baron Cohen's coming to America as "The Dictator."

Yes, the Democracy-hating supreme leader Aladeen of the Republic of Wadiya lands in the Big Apple. And like most Baron Cohen movies, the visit is filled with culture clashes and outrageous off-color comedy.

The Reel Deal: If you buy a ticket to "The Dictator," you know exactly what you're going to get: rude, crude, offensive, and depending on your tolerance for his brand of comedy, a lot of laughs! I'm in.

Also in theaters, you played it growing up, now "Battleship" is a movie.

The epic action-adventure based on Hasbro's naval combat game tells the story of a worldwide war that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior alien force.

The Reel Deal: I'll give it this much, it wasn't the total disaster I thought it was going to be. But it's loud, messy and pretty much "Transformers" on a boat, and unless you're 17 and part of the proactive crowd, it's a miss. I'm out.

A must-read for expectant mothers is the inspiration for the new comedy "What to Expect When You're Expecting."

The movie follows five couples whose lives are turned upside down as they face the challenges of parenthood. While the women prepare for the delivery date, the men meet up with the "dude group" to discuss daddy's dirty little secrets. Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Chris Rock and Elizabeth Banks are among the stars.

The Reel Deal: A romantic comedy that's half pregnant- what to expect when you're expecting? I don't know, how about some romance or maybe a little comedy. I'm out.
