Mike Rios allegedly asked to be bought out of his post. The issue was brought at Tuesday night's meeting after board president Tracey Vackar and trustee Cleveland Johnson visited Rios in jail following his arrest on pimping, pandering and rape charges. They say Rios asked if the board would pay him to resign. Vackar said buying out Rios would be illegal.
Rios is accused of convincing four women and two underage girls to work for him as prostitutes. He's also facing attempted murder charges for a February shooting outside his home.
Rios says he won't resign and denies any wrongdoing.
