The three-bedroom home in the Camden neighborhood in northwest London has become a makeshift shrine for mourning fans, who have left flowers and tributes after the singer's death last July from alcohol poisoning.
A spokesman for the Winehouse family said the singer had loved the house, and her family put it up for sale because they felt it would be inappropriate for any of them to live there.
The 2,500 square-foot home features three bedrooms, including an "impressive master suite with vaulted ceiling," three living rooms and private front and rear gardens overlooking the Tony Camden Square, according to online listing agent Housenetwork.co.uk.
Housenetwork.co.uk spokesman Graham Lock said the listing has generated much interest, but would not go into detail about how many inquiries had come in because the Winehouse family had asked for discretion.
Winehouse died of accidental alcohol poisoning at her London home in July 2011. The soul singer shot to fame with her 2006 album "Back to Black," but struggled for years with drug and alcohol abuse.
