Several of Madonna's costumes from her upcoming "MDNA" tour have been revealed and they might be racier than ever.
The 53-year-old singer will debut several new looks, including designs from her Truth or Dare fashion line, which includes lingerie and footwear. The legendary singer will don the lingerie as full costumes, according to the company's rep.
Madonna's longtime collaborator Arianne Phillips is overseeing all of the major wardrobe decisions for Madonna, her musicians and the 22-person dance troupe. Madonna collaborated with Phillips on the Truth or Dare line (See photos here).
"It was super exciting to create pieces we have always wanted and needed, and that reflect the fashion 'DNA' of Madonna," Phillips said in a statement. "It was exciting to be able to create products that people can buy and have a little bit of Madonna in their own life."
Madonna will also wear looks from designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Jeremy Scott and Alexander Wang and shoes from Prada and Miu Miu. Meanwhile, Dolce & Gabbana is dressing the band and background vocalists.
The backup dancers will wear custom J Brand jeans with Fausto Puglisi vests and masks. Women's Wear Daily obtained photos of several of the singer's other designs.
According to Phillips, the show will be bigger than anything Madonna has done in the past and the singer will make seven or eight costume changes, while her dancers will change up to 15 times.
Madonna's MDNA world tour kicks off in Tel Aviv on May 31. Check out the tour dates here.
