Hugh Hefner has gotten back together with his runaway bride, Crystal Harris, who moved back into the Playboy mansion.
"Yes @hughhefner and I are back together. Yes I am his #1 girl again. Yes we are happy. Hope that clears up any confusion," Harris Tweeted on June 1.
"Getting back together with Crystal Harris shouldn't be a big surprise, since I have a history of remaining close to former girlfriends," Hefner Tweeted on May 31, adding, "Shera & my other Mansion girlfriends welcomed Crystal here at dinner on Tuesday night, before playing games together."
Hefner denied that his girlfriend Shera Bechard, 27, moved out of the mansion, telling fans that she was visiting her parents in Canada. Hefner also explained on the micro-blogging site that it was his longtime assistant Mary O'Conner who arranged the reunion. Apparently, O'Conner found out that Harris was miserable and told her to write a letter to the Playboy mogul.
26-year-old Harris broke of her wedding to the 86-year-old Playboy founder, days before the pair were set to get married, on June 18, 2011. She blamed Hefner's "lifestyle" for the change of heart.
Hefner, who has dated and lived with Playboy models for decades, said Harris and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie, left the Playboy Mansion. At the time, he called their split "a heart breaker."
Harris and Hefner became engaged in December 2010 and had been linked together for about two years. Hefner had been married only once before, to Mildred Williams between 1949 and 1959. The pair are parents to Christie and David, who are in their 50s.
Following the breakup, Harris and Hefner fought over their Spaniel Charlie, who Hefner originally kept, letting his ex-fiance keep the engagement ring and a Bentley, but Harris asked for Charlie in December 2011.
Harris famously dissed Hefner's bedroom skills during an interview with Howard Stern. The Playmate told the shock jock that he lasted "like two minutes" and that she was not turned on by him.
