Malibu High School sent out a letter warning parents about the dangers of a pending student "initiation."
The letter was signed by the principal and two assistant principals. The administrators believe some kind of initiation ritual is planned for this weekend or next.
The letter says the initiation usually involves 11th graders subjecting eighth graders to various humiliating acts. The school wants parents to know any such activity is illegal and not condoned by the school.
