Update 6/10: Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves wed on June 9. Find out details here.
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his two children, are reportedly having a weekend wedding in Texas.
The couple have gathered friends and family for the quiet "cozy celebration" in the actor's home state, a source told E! Online. Those hired to organize the event were required to sign non-disclosure agreements.
According to Celebuzz, who obtained aerial photos of the event, guests will be staying in state-of-the-art air-conditioned tents and the actor was seen laying in a hammock while guests drink and play horseshoes in the garden.
The actor's rep had no immediate comments on the reports of a wedding.
The 42-year-old actor announced the engagement on December 25 on his WhoSay social networking page, alongside a photo that shows him and Alves, 30, kissing.
"Just asked Camila to marry me, merry Christmas," McConaughey said.
This will be the first marriage for McConaughey. He and Alves, a Brazilian model, met in 2007 and have two children - son Levi, 3, and daughter Vida, 2.
In March, Alves told ET Canada that she felt as though she was already married to McConaughey.
"We have homes together, we have family together, we have kids, we've built a life together. So, we've been living a married life this whole time," Alves told ET Canada. "I think it's great for the kids... Levi actually understands what it means now that Mama's going to have the same last name as they have."
