OTRC: Critics' Choice Television Awards 2012: Full list of winners

The winners for the 2nd annual Critics' Choice Television Awards have been revealed.

NBC's sitcom "Community," which has been renewed for season 4 despite a tumultuous year and lackluster ratings, took home the prize for Best Comedy Series. Zooey Deschanel of FOX's "New Girl" and Amy Poehler of NBC's "Parks and Recreation" shared the prize for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

Showtime's "Homeland" won Best Drama series, while its main female star, Claire Danes, took home the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series. Emmy-winning actor Bryan Cranston was named Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role in the AMC show "Breaking Bad." His co-star Giancarlo Esposito won Best Supporting Actor in a Drama series.

The event is put on by The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BJTA) and consists of TV, radio and Internet journalists who cover television on a regular basis. The winners of the Critics' Choice Television Awards were announced on Monday, June 18 at a gala awards dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
