Cee Lo Green is set to debut his new animal friend on "The Voice."
The Grammy winning artist is known for his flashy outfits and furry sidekicks on the NBC hit music competition "The Voice." The singer and judge is set to debut his new animal companion in the third season: a pink cockatoo.
"Lady's name says it all," Green, 38, told People. "She's my little lady with a big opinion. Sometimes whispers inappropriateness in my ear, but always ladylike."
The show began taping blind auditions earlier in the week, and Lady, who already has her own Twitter account, is set to make her television debut when the show airs. When asked how he stumbled upon his new friend, he answered in a mysterious way.
"I met her flying around in a fantasy of mine," the singer, who once performed his hit "Forget You" in a peacock outfit at the 2011 Grammys said. "She was wild and free just as I'd like to be! Birds of a feather we are."
Green appeared on the second season of the hit reality program with a white cat, which he dubbed "Purrfect." The cat, who Green would often playfully stroke during judging, he revealed to People magazine was a "professional."
Green also recently announced over Twitter that he would be coming out with his fourth studio album, "CEELO GREEN IS... 'EVERYBODY'S BROTHER.'"
