The condition of the officers was not immediately known.
Officials say the incident started as a pursuit, but didn't last long and ended in a crash.
According to witnesses at the scene, the suspect or suspects hit the officers with their car, then drove off. However, they were arrested a short time later just a few blocks away.
They also said the suspect car was traveling at high speeds for the area, about 70 to 80 miles per hour.
