4.3-magnitude earthquake shakes Calexico

CALEXICO, Calif.

The epicenter was 36 miles southeast of Calexico and 106 miles east-southeast of San Diego. A magnitude-3.0 temblor followed a few hours later near the Mexican city of Guadalupe Victoria in Baja California.

There were no reports of any major damage.

Calexico wasn't so lucky back in April 2010 when a 7.2-magnitude temblor shook nearby Mexicali. The quake killed two people and damaged dozens of buildings.
