Chris Zylka got to speak up for the first time about landing a role in the popular scary series "American Horror Story" but couldn't give away too many details about his role.

"Ryan Murphy was gracious enough to let me announce it tonight that I get to join the cast," he told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the recent premiere of "The Amazing Spider-Man." "I have the privilege of joining the cast of 'American Horror Story' next season."
"I'm not allowed to say details," he added.
What is known about his character is that Zylka will play Daniel, according to Entertainment Weekly. The character is a deaf-mute who is described as the "Most Beautiful Boy in the World."
When asked by OnTheRedCarpet.com if his character was good or evil, Zylka replied, "It's 'American Horror Story.' Both."
He also joked his character is "Naked. Always."
"It's so good to be a part of something that's so cinematically done but on television," he added.
A few more details are known about the show's second season, which will feature a completely different location and tell a different story than season 1 with the Harmon family in Los Angeles. Season 2 is set on the East Coast at an institution for the criminally insane.
Some of the season 1 cast members will return to the series as new characters including Jessica Lange, whose character runs the intuition, and Zachary Quinto.
Zylka also appears in the new "Spider-Man" reboot as bully Flash Thompson. In the movie, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) goes in search of clues that might explain what happened to his parents, who disappeared when he was young. His search brings him to Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. Martin Sheen and Sally Field play Parker's Uncle Ben and Aunt May.
Gwen Stacy, Parker's first love, is played by Emma Stone.
The actor previously starred in "Everybody Hates Chris," "The Secret Circle" and "Piranha 3DD" and played Joey in the ABC Family series "10 Things I Hate About You."
