"Glee" fans may be very happy with the latest casting update.
The show's regular actors will be returning for the fourth season despite the fact that many of the fan favorite characters graduated at the end of season 3, according to Deadline.com.
Tthe report states that co-creator Ryan Murphy gave an open invitation to the 15 regulars to come back for season 4 in some capacity and many have accepted.
Lead actors like Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer will play a prominent role in the episodes next season and several other actors like Naya Rivera, Amber Riley, Mark Salling, Harry Shum Jr. and Diana Agron, will reportedly appear at some point in the season.
Other actors, whose characters did not move on to college, will also return like Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz and Heather Morris. Chord Overstreet, who joined the cast in season 2 before leaving the cast at the beginning of season 3 and then returned mid-season, is reportedly in talks to become a regular.
Matthew Morrison, Jayma Mays and Jane Lynch will also return to their teaching roles next year.
In May, Fox confirmed that former "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker and "Almost Famous" and "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" star Kate Hudson have signed on for guest roles on the fourth season. Both actresses will have multi-episode guest arcs.
The show will move to the Thursday night 9 p.m. time slot from its current place on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. next season.
