Lily Allen and her husband Sam Cooper are reportedly expecting their second child.
The U.K.'s Sunday Mirror first sparked rumors of Allen's pregnancy, quoting a source who said that the singer was "over the moon" to be expecting a second child, who is reportedly due in December. The source claimed that Allen "has started telling her friends, and everybody in her close circle is so excited for her."
The English pop singer teased the news on July 8, Tweeting, "Thank you for all your congratulations today. I honestly couldn't be happier." Before adding, "Such an honour to be on the list! #Timestop50tweeters."
Many fans commented that they expected the singer to address pregnancy rumors rather than referring to being named one of the U.K.'s Sunday Times newspaper's top 50 Tweeters.
Allen's spokesperson has yet to comment on the new pregnancy reports and the singer hasn't confirmed the news herself.
Allen and Cooper welcomed their first child, daughter Ethel Mary, on November 25, 2011. The couple got married on June 11, 2011 in Gloucestershire, England.
In his wedding speech, Cooper announced that the couple was expecting their first child. During the reception, Cooper told guests that Allen was at least 12 weeks pregnant. Friends of the couple told the U.K.'s Daily Mail that the singer is "ecstatic" to be expecting again, following two devastating miscarriages.
The 27-year-old singer met Cooper met in Glastonbury in 2009 and the painter and decorator proposed a year later.
Allen is known for pop songs such as "Smile" and "LDN" but said she has "retired from singing." She has been concentrating on her fashion career and co-founded the Lucy in Disguise label with her sister Sarah Owen.
