Demi Lovato has signed on to host the upcoming Teen Choice Awards, which are set to air on FOX on Sunday, July 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
"Yes. The rumors are true @ddlovato is hosting Teen Choice this year!!!! Will all you lovatics be watching? July 22 8pm on FOX!," the official Teen Choice Award Twitter account revealed on July 9.
The busy singer is currently headlining a North American summer tour, continuing her music career comeback following a 2010 rehab stint and highly-publicized battle with substance abuse and other personal turmoil.
On July 6, Lovato performed on the "Good Morning America" summer stage in New York City.
Before her live performance, the 19-year-old singer told the audience that she decided to be open about her battle with eating disorders and depression because "that's what a role model is about. It's not about being perfect. It's about speaking about your issues and inspiring others to get help."
Lovato will also serve as a judge on season 2 of "The X Factor"along with Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid.
