Waterman Canyon wildfire is 100 percent contained

WATERMAN CANYON, SAN BERNARDINO NATIONAL FOREST

The blaze, dubbed the Panorama Fire, broke out just before 2 p.m. Monday and burned through 75 acres.

The extreme heat proved too much for three firefighters, who had to be treated for heat-related injuries.

Voluntary evacuations were lifted for residents in Waterman Canyon, and Highway 18 was reopened.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
