Sarah Brame's family was on a fishing vacation in Cherry Grove, S.C. Brame was reeling in her first fish when a shark leaped to the surface and stole her catch.
Brame was more than surprised.
"I was actually kind of scared, because I'd seen it jump and I was like, 'Oh my gosh, it could jump up here and get me' because the tide was all the way up, and it was probably 3 feet below me," Brame said.
Brame said the bull shark was 5 feet long and weighed 200 pounds.
The family tried to follow it. However, they decided they needed a bigger boat and gave up the chase.
