Sage Stallone, the son of actor and director Sylvester Stallone, was found dead on Friday, July 13, at the age of 36, his attorney confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com.
Sage Stallone's body was found in his Studio City apartment, according to the LAPD. Officers were dispatched to conduct a "welfare check" at Sage's home after no one had heard from him for several days.
The LAPD said in a statement there were no signs of forced entry or any other criminal activity that would currently prompt a "criminal investigation."
George Braunstein, Sage's lawyer, said in a statement, "I'm devastated ... he's an extremely bright, creative person ... full of life."
The cause of death is not yet known.
"Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone," the actor's spokesperson said in statement. "His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha."
"Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man, his loss will be felt forever," the statement continued.
He was the son of Sylvester Stallone and his first wife Sasha Czack. The couple also has a son named Seargeoh Stallone. Stallone and Czack divorced in 1985. Sylvester Stallone also has three daughters with current wife Jennifer Flavin.
Sage Stallone appeared in his father's film "Rocky V" in 1990 as the son of Sylvester's famous character Rocky Balboa.
Sage went on to appear in other films like "Daylight," which also starred his father, "Chaos" and "Promises Written in Water." He also wrote and directed a 2006 short film called "Vic."
