Jennifer Lopez says she is open to getting married again, which would mark her fourth time down the aisle, while her boyfriend Beau "Casper" Smart, 25, has opened up about their relationship.
The 42-year-old, who recently made headlines by signaling her departure from her position as a judge on "American Idol," was asked about it in a recent interview with ABC News' "Nightline." The full episode is set to air on Tuesday, July 17 at 11:35 p.m. ET.
"For me, the biggest dream is the fairy tale," she added. "I will never give up on that dream."
Lopez and third husband, Marc Anthony, announced in July 2011 that they would end their seven-year marriage. The singer, father to their 4-year-old twins, filed for divorce in April.
"It can be difficult for anybody who has to stand by my side, but at the end of the day, I know that I deserve that," Lopez told ABC News.
She and Smart have been linked together romantically since late 2011. He is also the chief choreographer of her current concert tour with Enrique Iglesias. Smart told ABC News it was not love at first sight for him and Lopez.
"It was just very natural, you know, natural how it happened," he said. "There was nothing before, no flirting, no nothing."
"Sometimes, I tell her something, you know, give her notes," Smart told ABC News. "But at the end of the day, you know, it doesn't matter what position is what, because she's the boss, you know."
Lopez's second husband, Cris Judd, was a dance choreographer who also appeared in several of her music videos. The two were married between 2001 and 2003. She was previously married to Ojani Noa between 1997 and 1998. She has also dated rapper and producer Sean "Diddy" Combs and Ben Affleck.
The two actors starred together in the 2003 film "Gigli," a box office flop, and in the 2004 movie "Jersey Girl." They dated for about a year and a half and were even engaged before announcing their split in January 2004.
Lopez told ABC News she has worked with people she has been involved with romantically many times.
"It's difficult with some people, and some people, it's easy," she said. "Just depends on their personality."
