A male suspect entered the BofA branch located at 2260 S. Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim at about 2 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the suspect demanded money from a teller and threatened to shoot employees.
The suspect then abruptly left the bank on foot.
There were no customers in the bank. No one was injured. Police said no weapons were found.
The attempted-robbery suspect was described as a white man in his late 50s standing 5 foot 7 or 8 inches tall, weighing about 170-180 pounds, clean-shaven with a bald head. He was wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt, blue-jean shorts and white tennis shoes.
