Cheryl Burke of "Dancing with the Stars" has been spotted with what appears to be a new love interest.
Burke, 28, is dating hockey player Joffrey Lupul, 28, according to People magazine. The professional dancer met the athlete in June when she hosted the 2012 NHL Awards in Las Vegas.
The pair were spotted Wednesday, July 18 at the Jockey for a Cause event at the opening of the Del Mar horse racing season, according to the magazine.
"Had so much fun at the horse races in del mar!! Won big bucks!! ;)" she Tweeted on July 18.
In June 2012, Burke admitted to People that her dating record has been less than spectacular for the past few years.
"My dating record hasn't been great the past couple of years," she told the magazine. "If I have a chance to go on ['The Bachelorette'] I will."
"It would be fun to have a pool of guys around you and getting to know someone," she continued. "I think if I had people setting me up with different guys I think it would be easier for me to meet someone to date."
Burke has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She won two seasons of "Dancing With the Stars," ABC's hit ballroom dancing show, and her recent partners have included NFL player Chad Ochocinco, Las Vegas crooner Wayne Newton and actor and retired basketball player Rick Fox.
