Despite reports that Jillian Michaels has asked to return to "The Biggest Loser" following her exit from the daytime series "The Doctors," the trainer said on her official Facebook page that the reports are untrue.

Sources close to the situation also told OnTheRedCarpet.com that a salary disagreement will keep her from coming back to the reality competition series.

Michaels was involved in negotiations to return, sources said. However, talks broke down during the last round on July 16 after Michaels asked to have an equal salary on par with trainer Bob Harper. The show would not honor that request, according to the source.

In a post dated July 18, Michaels told her fans, "I've just heard of the rumors regarding me going back to 'Biggest Loser.' This is 100% untrue. I respect the show and wish it well but have NO intentions of returning."

The network asked Michaels to come back, according to the source. NBC declined to comment on this story when asked for a statement by OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Michaels' publicist, Ashley Sandberg, confirmed "Jillian will not be returning to the show for the reason stated (above)."

The ratings on "The Biggest Loser" have declined since Michaels' departure from the series. On the last season that Michaels was on in spring of 2011, the show had 8.46 million viewers. The most recent season finale of the show had just 7.2 million viewers. "The Biggest Loser" has seen a decline in its ratings since it hit a series high during the eighth season in 2009 with 10.4 million.

Michaels announced her departure from "The Biggest Loser" in December 2010, saying she wanted to take a year off to bring home a child and focus on her charity work. She was featured as a fitness trainer on the NBC weight-loss reality series on and off since 2004.

The 38-year-old trainer became the mother of two children in May. Her girlfriend, Heidi Rhoades, 31, gave birth to a baby boy, Phoenix, on May 3 and Michaels brought home a 2-year-old girl named Lukensia from Haiti the same week.

Earlier this month, Michaels' home was burglarized. The home invader, a 29-year-old parolee named Gerjuan Deshon Harmon, stole her purse, which contained keys to the Bentley and an Audemars watch, which were both on a kitchen table.

Michaels noticed the missing personal items on July 4 and after a pursuit, Harmon was arrested and currently faces charges of burglary, grand theft auto, evading police, unlawful driving or taking of a vehicle, first-degree burglary with a person present and hit-and-run driving.

Harmon was on parole for prior felony burglary charges, receiving stolen property and petty theft convictions. If convicted, he faces 22 years in state prison.
