OTRC: Pamela Anderson: I'm the underdog of 'Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars'

Pamela Anderson talks to OnTheRedCarpet.com at ABC's Television Critics Association party on July 27, 2012.

Pamela Anderson might have an international fan base, but the blonde bombshell seems to think that she is the underdog on "Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars."

"I'm the underdog," Anderson told OnTheRedCarpet.com at ABC's Television Critics Association party on July 27, 2012. "I'm nervous, but I like being nervous, so that's a good thing. It'll be a challenge for sure. It's pretty exciting."

It was announced on Friday, July 27, that the 45-year-old former Playboy Playmate would return to compete for the Mirror Ball trophy. The other competitors include Bristol Palin, Helio Castroneves, Kelly Monaco, Shawn Johnson, Apolo Anton Ohno, Melissa Rycroft, Kirstie Alley, Drew Lachey, Gilles Marini, Emmitt Smith and Joey Fatone. Fans will also have the opportunity to vote on the thirteenth contestant - between Sabrina Bryan, Kyle Massey and Carson Kressley.

The celebrities' professional dance partners will be revealed on August 13 and it is not likely that the stars will compete with their original dance partner. Anderson's former partner, Damian Whitewood has not appeared on the last several seasons on the show, but competed earlier in the year on the Australian version of "Dancing With The Stars" and was partnered with Russell Crowe's wife, singer Danielle Spencer.

"They won't let us know until the 13th [of August], but I'm assuming, because I don't see him anywhere, that my beloved partner Damian, I don't know if he's going to be back this year, so we'll see," Anderson said of her future partner. When asked if she would pay money to see her partner return, she joked, "Pay money? If I had some, sure! I kinda like that I don't know. I like the unknowns."

Anderson went into the first competition with no dance experience, but it hoping to improve on her skills in her second round on the show.

"Everybody I know told me not to do the show in the first place and I was like, 'I'm going to do it because I want to know how to dance,'" Anderson said. "So doing it again is just exciting because whatever I learned the first time - I'm starting from there and hopefully, it will lead into something else."

In preparation for the September 24 premiere, Anderson said that she has been working out, which isn't something she's very accustomed to doing.

"I've danced the dances that I did all over Europe and just a couple places but then I haven't done anything for awhile," she continued. "I'm working out, which is a first. Pilates - it's very hard. Pilates and gyro tonics."

Anderson is best known for her role as sexy lifeguard C.J. Parker in the hit show 1990s "Baywatch," her multiple Playboy magazine photos and a sex tape she made with ex-husband Tommy Lee.

In the past decade, Anderson has voiced the main part of sexy superhero "Stripperella" in an animated series, appeared on a show called "Stacked" and guest starred on the sitcom "8 Simple Rules." She had a short-lived E! reality show in 2008 and competed on ABC ballroom dancing series "Dancing With The Stars" in 2010.

The new season is the "Dancing With The Stars" franchise's 15th installment and is set to premiere on Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
