Kate Hudson bonded with Lea Michele on the set of FOX's "Glee," where she is set to portray a NYADA dance teacher.
The show's executive producer, Ryan Murphy, shared a photo of Hudson and Michele, laughing in what appears to be a dance studio, lit with an elaborate chandelier.
Hudson has signed on to appear on the musical series in a six-episode arc, according to the network. The "Almost Famous" and "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" star will portray Cassandra July, Rachel Berry's dance teacher at the performing arts college NYADA.
"Getting ready to watch Kate Hudson sing and dance in a little bit! #whyigetupat5am :)" Michele Tweeted on July 30.
"I am so excited! Oh my God! I'm so obsessed with her," Michele told Entertainment Tonight Canada at San Diego Comic-Con. "She's one of the greatest comedic actresses right now and I just think she's so great... so I can't wait to work with her!"
Murphy, who joined Twitter on July 30, has already been busy sharing exclusive sneak peaks from the sets of "Glee" and "American Horror Story." He also promised to share details about his upcoming series, "The New Normal."
Hudson was last seen in "Something Borrowed" and "A Little Bit of Heaven." The 33-year-old actress and her fiancé Matthew Bellamy welcomed their son Bingham on July 7, 2011. The actress had her 7-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the rock band the Black Crowes. The two divorced in 2007 after almost seven years of marriage.
